10 years since The Joe

A decade ago today was the best concert i’ve ever been to. Amazing show that got immediately overshadowed in PJ history by Moline the next night. We got Black, Red, Yellow, “Tougher” Man (Better Man dedicated to Cheli) and Lukin (Rodman was supposed to be there but didn’t show, Chelios and Lukin were there). A great Light Years dedicated to Ikey Owens, Jack White’s keys player who had just passed away. I Wanna Be Your Dog intro to Corduroy, Stranglehold solo in RBY, Detroit Rock City intro to Spin The Black Circle and of course Kick Out The Jams!

Such a magical night. The drive to Moline immediately after was a struggle but beautiful under the miles and miles of starry skies. Even beat the Upstaging trucks to iWireless despite an overnight rest stop hehe. Fun merch line in DET as well seeing the special items revealed.

I’m glad I grabbed one, I was on the fence because of price and almost didn’t grab it. It doesn’t help I’m I Leaf’s fan lol
but I still thinks it’s the best of the hockey jerseys that they have put out

What a night. That opening was absolutely INCREDIBLE. One of the best trio of opener I’ve ever witnessed. Well worth the 10 hour drive.
