My fault. I went too far in my investigation.thirdbeach said:Looks like the powers that be don't want us knowing how many prints there are left. I just checked a few and they all say "1" now.

Of course this happened, no one seems to know the first rule of fight club anymore.thirdbeach said:Looks like the powers that be don't want us knowing how many prints there are left. I just checked a few and they all say "1" now.0 -
Ballpark APs are 300. Ames I think had 180 regular APs and 155 foils, so maybe anywhere from 15-65 GLOs? On non-ballparks their regular APs are 130 and Klausen and Ian usually have 200.STONESIDE said:
Correct. Each show has its own criteria for total number of posters. While I'm not an expert on the subject, I've asked around for any hints on on the matter. MrTsurt "Chris" isn't talking, Inhouse (the printing company) isn't talking and the artists have all signed an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) but there are hints. Most PJ AP's are an edition of 100. Ames and Klausen are the only exception. These two regularly sell editions above 100, sometimes 200. Ames are the ONLY ones printing their own PJ posters, all others are from InHouse in chino CA.njhaley1 said:@ianwilliamsart
🤔 That's interesting, because there's still >400 of the Seattle Ames bros up. I'm starting to think they don't print all of these in the same quantities.STONESIDE said:
by the time i F5ed and carted, then checked- there were data-quantity="261 in the site. I'd estimate they started with +300ishRyan_WFC said:How many Boston posters were there?
He's referring to Ian Williams @ianwilliamsart
So to answer your question, it depends. Size of the venue, number of participating artists, number of nights all factor into total number of posters. Also, even though Ames prints their own posters, a predetermined number is agreed upon beforehand. And, no- i don't think anyone would be printing posters onsite. The logistics would be horrendous.Post edited by SHZA on0 -
