    I'm thinking about going out to Seattle for this. Will Beck and STP play each night of the festival?

    Yes, the festival is 3 days/nights over labor day weekend. There is a different headliner each night. So STP and Beck will be on different nights. I think the third headliner is Lucinda Williams (so I guess there is a possibility Ed might be there). Doesn't say who is playing what night yet though.

    Thanks for the info! I'm really interested in seeing STP, although I also like Beck. I checked STP's website, and it said they are playing there Sunday, August 31st.

    why travel from NY to WA when u can see STP at virgin festival this yr along w/Foo Fighters, Jack Johnson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, and more

    I think the line up is pretty weak, compared to last year and other festivals this year, that might just be because last year three of my favorite bands were playing on the exact same day. That being said I am tempted to head up just because its bumbershoot and if the music isn't good theres all kinds of stuff to do.
