Wow! Super stoked to be included in this year’s @modern_drummer readers poll. This track came together quickly and captured by the amazing @thisiswatt I had finished a full day of tracking with PJ and before I left for the hotel I was messing around with a random beat floating around in my head. Andrew enthusiastically told me to play it again. He recorded the beat and gave it to Jeff to work out some parts. We showed up the next morning and Jeff and Stone inserted their riffs into the beat with Andrew helping with the arrangement. We bashed out the rhythm track in a couple of hours, gave it to Ed for his trademark brilliant vocals and boom it was done. Many thanks to @modern_drummer for the support in my career and the drumming community. 🙏🏻
