Pete Townshend: "Who Came First". Thoughts?

I came across a decent vinyl copy of this the other day and couldn't remember the last time I'd listened to it.  I had a copy of this sometime in the 80s that I sold off at some point, but couldn't remember the last time I'd listened to it- probably at least 30, maybe 40 years ago. So I gave it a go.
I remembered "Pure and Easy" and loved it all over again immediately.
I didn't remember the second song, "Evolution", but dug it right off.  Same with #3, "Forever's No Time At All".
But then the last song on side one, not so much.  Same with most of side 2.  Still, well worth having for those three first songs.
Anybody a fan, and if so, what works for you?

I wish he would do another solo show as well. I remember in the mid-90s when I first moved to NYC I was so young and broke and Pete was doing a solo show at a relatively small place. The tickets sold out so I found someone selling a ticket in the Village Voice. It cost $99 which was a fortune to me back then - but pulled the trigger. The floor was GA and I got to the front and ended up with a pick from Pete.

Next solo show I saw of his was when he did Quadrophenia with the orchestra at Lincoln Center. That ticket made $99 look like a bargain.

    Great shirt!
Yes, I too really like Pete's singing.  Although I can't say I love all the songs on Who Came First, his singing is terrific, especially on "Pure and Easy".  When I put that on yesterday, it was blissful!
