Q for you who have vinyl edition with a "LP sized" hardcover book

I am not talking about a booklet inserted in the cover. But a hardcover book and a vinyl with e.g. a slipcase around both.

Is the bookcover exactly the same size as the LP cover? Or do they differ slightly? (like the book actually being a little bit smaller/shorter)

Anyone who can check... I don't have any editions with a hardcover book sadly... Not even the great Beatles ones

I have the Let It Be boxed set. The hardcover book is exactly the same size as the records. So they all fit in the outer box evenly.

As in an all in one where the records are in the book too? The closest I have to this is the In Rainbows deluxe edition. It has the slipcase, but the interior book/CD/LP book is bigger than a standard sleeve which means the slipcase is even bigger. I have to rotate the whole thing (storing it spine side up) to get it to fit into my Expedit.

Thanks! A local printer say they can only print books in 300x300mm. And a vinyl jackets 310mm high I think. So that's 10mm shorter... A bit too much if you want it looking nice together....

I have slipcase box sets where there are books and a separate 2LP or something in one slipcase. In that case, yes the book is the same size as the LP sleeves.

The hardback book in the Mark Lanegan ‘Bubblegum XX’ set is the same size as the vinyl. It all fits perfectly inside the slipcase.
