I looked into that STP, looks like it is just demo's, etc. I just can't allow myself to pay for demo's for the price of vinyl today, I'll listen digitally. I'll look into the U2 more, not feeling the latest song that came out. I like that album, have it on vinyl, maybe there is something more to it, I'll check it out. Van Halen Dallas, might have to be just a digital listen. Good stuff, I'm on it....

I was at that VH show. So stoked it’s coming out on vinyl. I’ll grab the STP & RATM too.

Kinda wish they just did Dark Matter live and grabbed the whole record from different nights.

I remember everything. It was in the middle of the day. I had just moved to Texas from the Chicago area about 6 months before. I had no idea where the West End even was. It was a secret until the news leaked out the night before. Unfortunately I didn’t hear about it until I was already in class so by the time I found my way down there the crowd was already huge. I was way far back so I could pretty much only see Alex. Even back there we were packed in like sardines. People were climbing trees and port-a-potties to see. Others were on top of local buildings and at least one dude climbed up a light post. It was a party. We had a blast. It was only an hour and the worst part was probably them ending right as rush hour traffic was kicking in.

Yeah, it's all underwhelming. I agree with a previous poster.... this could have been a great Holiday single...

  • Holiday single or RSD release, it makes no difference to me.  I am still happy I am getting this.

Looking forward to The Doors live in Detroit, STP and Rage Against the Machine as well.

I don't see RSD as a cash grab.  We are always free to buy or not. There are interesting releases, whenever they come out is irrelevant to me.

Sound is great. Horrible video editing. Show more Eddie Van Halen video footage. There's more shots of the fans then him.
