Why Can’t I Donate My Tickets??
So before I begin, I know why I can’t actually donate my tickets, I’m creating this thread in hopes that maybe PJ can work something out in the future that would allow this to happen. I entered the ticket lottery in 2024 for Fenway when tickets were just becoming available, and I selected PJ premium seats as an option(I know big mistake, had I did even little research here this would not have happened). I ended up with terrible seats in the grandstands. I tried to sell them off at face value, but because the ticket cost for the grandstand seats at Fenway had plummeted, no one in their right mind would have purchased these seats at face value. I had no intention of spending even more money to attend the event(I had already lost enough money on the gamble), I made a stupid mistake(which I totally own up to) and now these tickets are going to go to waste. I get the rational of of not allowing these tickets to be transferable because of the scalping issues and prices being driven up as a result, but why can’t PJ work something out with ticket master where a guy can donate his tickets to say local first responders or the local children’s hospital? The seats were garbage to me but could have been something a local hero would have enjoyed. Hoping this can reach someone with influence to change.

"...I changed by not changing at all..."
I can understand why we can't forward to a specific buyer, but we should be able to set the price as long as it's not higher than face.
In 2016, I could have accepted $50 cash for a ticket...why can't I accept $50 via Ticketmaster in 2024?
