There's a particular song I really liked when I was waiting in my seat the last 3 shows. (Philly 1, 2 & Baltimore).
Don't know the artist. ISO.

Songs friends heard that were played were ..

Sleater-Kinney - Say It Like You Mean It
The The - Love Is Stronger Than Death
Big Thief - Vampire Empire

I was not at those shows, so this is just a wild guess. Deep Sea Diver ‘Impossible Weight’. They were the opening act for Leg 1 and I’ve heard them play this on Pearl Jam radio, it’s a really catchy song.

    I heard:
    Dead Moon - Graveyard
at both Wrigley shows, and at another show, but I don't remember which one.
It made me hopeful that we might get an "Its OK" tag, but no. It was still fun to hear. I followed them for years after seeking out who that tag was by, originally.

And me and every guy over 40 in the place immediately thought about Phoebe Cates

weren’t The Cars from Boston?  Figured it was a little local cap tip.

Ooh, my phone actually keeps a record of what it identified - the Painted Shield song was "I Am Your Country". Other songs played that night:
    Selfish by slowthai
Put the Message in the Box by World Party
Dear April (Side A - Acoustic) by Frank Ocean

Songs played in Boston (that might have been used elsewhere):
I Don't Live Here Anymore by The War On Drugs
I Just Want to Celebrate by Rare Earth
We Make Hits by Yard Act
