My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

I am running a Ghia right now... it is the most dynamic amp I have ever played... and I used to have a Hiwatt.

Amazing touch. And great tone too.

I have played a Route 66... also very tasty. That is a Massive sounding amp...

But, yes the Ghia is an EL-84 amp... my tele likes EL-84s best.

P-90s sound great with the Ghia too.

I've got a little orange AD-15 single coils adore EL-84's I'm just looking for a little more headroom for my cleans.

Well the Ghia doesn't have a ton of headroom, but it is very loud for an 18 watt amp, that is the rating at least... I use it with my lead guitar players 50 watt Rivera, and it handles itself just fine.

I wouldn't reccommend the Ghia for "headroom" though... maybe try a 30 watt EL-84 based amp... like an AD-30, AC-30, Z Mazerati, etc.

We cover some PJ often as well...

This Friday our setlist is like a PJ mini show..

We are playing I Got Shit, Fortunate Son, and RITFW to close the show...

The guitarist and I love PJ, so we stear the selections that way... yes we are a strictly cover band... but it is a good time.

obviously one of the only cover bands with a damn fine guitar sound.

It'd be pretty cool if you guys also covered, Bring the Ruckus from Wu Tang Clan. You really don't hear that one covered much.
