Well, I was messing around last night, and put my Dyna-Comp and CryBaby back into the loop. The path is now:

TeleBastard ->
CryBaby
DynaComp
Phase 90
TS-9 Tubescreamer
Ernie Ball Volume
Ibanez DM1100 Delay ->
1965 Fender Vibro Champ

I've decided that the DynaComp sounds pretty nice on the TeleBastard, and it really helps drive the Tubescreamer. Damnit. I need a pedal board and a power supply!
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

  • I think I know the real reason behind the power failure in the U.S a while back ;-)

    Oh, you wanna blame that on me? I'm northern Rockies, not East-coast. Can't blame me.

    I play the smallest amp of anyone on this board! And they call me Yngwie...

    The Dyna Comp is like a Wilson tennis racket. Not everyone uses a tennis racket, but everyone who ever used a tennis racket has used a Wilson.

    It's a nice, basic, reasonable little box. It's really only good for single coil pickups, especially Strats and Teles. But it does fatten up the tone, add sustain, can really help drive an overdrive pedal, and it smoothes out your dynamics a bit. It really helps with solos.

    There are other comp's out on the market, but for the price, the Dyna Comp is the one I'd recommend. Plus, it matches my Phase 90...
