Mig Is Very, Very Happy...

I found a Sovtek Mig 50 yesterday at the shop where I've been patiently considering the Line 6 Variax... it's in beautiful condition, cosmetically, and sounds VERY clean, clear, responsive... it has a set of Sovtek tubes (3 12AX7's and 2 5881's) and it's just beautiful. Of course, I've been looking for a Mig 50 for about a year now... and so I had to buy it. They've been selling on eBay for around the $250-350 range... they sold it to me for $150! I still haven't plugged into my cabinets at home, but I am patiently awaiting the chance to crank that mother up!
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    Tell me about it... it's a '59 Bassman AND a JTM45 Plexi in one box, and for roughly 10% the price of either. Plus it looks cooler.

    You have NEVER heard a more creamy, warm, smooth tone... it's absolutely gorgeous... I've done a lot of research in the past few days, and I've heard nothing but good things. I think I'm finally set on my amp and cabinet options, for a while...

    Anyone want a half-way decent acoustic-electric to fool around on? I have a Yamaha FG-411SC Dreadnaught Cutaway, in good condition, with a hard case. I'd like to get about $300 out of it, it's a great, reliable, typical acoustic-electric that I just don't need or want anymore. PM if interested (I know it's a crap-shoot, but hey, it's worth a shot).

    Nice Mig, great deal especially since you already have the cabinets. It's a pity most people don't know how good those amps really are. Then again if you can get them for $150 it's a good thing no one paid attention.

    Crank it up!
