Not a fan of MYM at all. Not sure why.
Probably because it was in Sons of Anarchy, and HOO BOY - that show did NOT stick the landing in the latter half.
I bailed after they kidnapped the kid lol
I thought the show panned out pretty well.  One of the best concluding episodes i've ever seen..
Ever see The Shield? That one had one of the best for me.

    for stat nerds like myself:
    • Alone (scratched from N1) and Pendulum are both up to 49 performances. #50 for either is completely plausible.
    • In My Tree & Love Boat Captain are both primed at 99 performances. One more to #100 for these classics!
    • The great Nothingman is just chilling at 149 performances. #150 could be just around the corner.
    • Not For You is sitting comfortably at 249. Performance #250 is IMMINENT.
    • Porch stands at #649 performances. Almost a lock that tonight will mark #650.
    • If Lightning Bolt, or In Hiding (both at 98) get played tonight, they'll potentially hit #100 in Baltimore, or Fenway Park.
    • Philly N1 brought us the 850th performance of Alive. Tonight will most likely mark #851, the 2nd most played PJ song.
    • For the Disney Nerds: if Corduroy is played tonight, it'll be performance #626 (STITCH!)
    • For the Marvel Nerds: if Black is played tonight, it'll be performance #616, the main Marvel Universe (Fantastic!)
    • For the... "medicinal" crowd: if Animal is played, it'll be performance #420 :coffee:
    • If Wreckage is played again, it'll be the first Dark Matter song to hit 25 plays. The most of any track on the new record.
    • Other than the new record, Yield ruled Philly night one. Which PJ album will show up the most tonight?
    • Brain of J had it's tour debut on N1. What else might debut from the shadows tonight??
    Wow nicely done!

I know some people didn't like the predictability of the Dark Matter bloc at the spring shows, but those songs really flowed well together, as they do on the album. I feel like the scattershot sort-of blocs they've been doing at the recent shows would be less satisfying.
    Yea… well you’re wrong.
    Saturday night was incredible.
How am I wrong? It's a subjective statement. The implied conclusion to the sentence is less satisfying for me. Did you see any of the shows in the spring when they played the first four tracks from Dark Matter as a bloc?
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Disagree. Not knowing whats up next and the songs still flowing well matters way more to me.

    In My Tree!!!!
It didn't bother me that I knew which songs were coming for those four songs because they were all still basically brand-new and it was impossible (for me) not to be excited to hear them, especially since the Dark Matter songs were the number one thing I wanted to hear. And they sounded amazing.

That is how you stick a landing in every single regard!
Concrete Blonde. Felt like a Scorsese ending!
Concrete Blonde? Are you referring to the band?
    Take me piece by piece.....

  • I saw Portland and Sacramento.  The same eight DM tracks in the same slots was too much.  Still had fun but it was 1/3 of the show the exact same plus a number of the same hits at both as well.  I'd much prefer switching it up like these west coast shows.

    for stat nerds like myself:
Thank you! I love useless knowledge lol.

Wreckage hits a QUICK 25, and the 100th In My Tree ever! (1996!)
Always funny when the die-hard fans rely on the stat tracking app to determine the amount of times songs are played … only not to realize how many secret shows for huge corporations, etc have been played and not included in these very accurate landmark “numbers played” milestones.

Justified was also great but kept on a few too many seasons. They did wrap it well though. We are on an FX kick.

I know some people didn't like the predictability of the Dark Matter bloc at the spring shows, but those songs really flowed well together, as they do on the album. I feel like the scattershot sort-of blocs they've been doing at the recent shows would be less satisfying.

    This!
