Anyone else seen this series on the Discovery Channel?

This week they built a 30-some-odd feet guitar (ten meters or so) based on a boutique design from Baratto Guitars. They got a gigantic humbucker custom-built by Seymour Duncan himself, who also helped build the guitar. It had a poplar neck, a walnut fretboard, a density-board body with truss framing, and custom-built tuners and bridge-plate built from aluminum. Then they used piano wire for strings, tuned it to open-E, and got Peter Frampton to come give it a try through a massive Ampeg amp putting out 600 watts through a 36x10" speaker cabinet (that's 36 speakers).

It was pretty cool to watch... most of it was pretty cheesy, but hey, it's still kinda cool. The Seymour Duncan stuff was especially good.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
