Teen Jesus and Jean Teasers also playing Ohana. An extra support hopefully means earlier entry and something to listen to while we wait.

I wish Liam Finn was also doing the Australian shows.  Would love to see him again.. he was so much fun on the 2009 tour.

Also are the Pixies playing at every Australian PJ show?  Having trouble finding the answer.

Yes.  See first post.  Pixies are at each show, and then one of the three others.

  • Pixies were an interesting opener - much like Breeders for Foo Fighters earlier this year.
They seemed almost disinterested, which is part of their schtick, I know.

Liam Finn was awesome at AKL Day 2. Finished by throwing himself through his drumkit. Was an unusual way to end, but it was a crowd pleaser.

  • Looking at TicketMaster today, it appears the dynamic pricing model and holding the concert at Carrara is not working. So many tickets now available the day before. This is not a b!+ching post, just an observation. It will be the first QLD concert I have missed.

  • If you can, get down early to see Teen Jesus tomorrow - they are an amazing live band.

Only got to see The Pixies at the Gold Coast show.  Teen Jesus' set got cancelled because the show was delayed by one hour.  PJ came on at 9 pm.
