Holy fucking shit. That first set was unreal. Wow. Blows last night out of the water. Crowd and band brought it.
WOW tonight they BROUGHT IT!! Felt like last night was a warm up.
Kind of felt like the 2010s again… although shorter!!
So I spent today waffling back and forth about whether to snag a ticket and go tonight. Really glad I decided to pull the trigger.
Always say yes to another PJ show! Excellent choice!!
Having left last night’s show disappointed, the choice came down to this:
Potential downside of going: spend another night being out too late (I’m getting old!) and getting disappointed again by a band who is starting to standardize their setlists and a crowd that is also getting older; have my wife get mildly-to-seriously annoyed with me for going out at the last minute. Also I’m out $150.
Potential downside of not going: I sit at home watching the Yankees lose another dumb game and slowly lose my mind while watching a classic setlist take shape on this thread.

The only right answer.

Ofc. I'm paying and wanting to see PJ songs. One or two, sure, but 5?
They played no way only 7 more times than the number of covers tonite. That's something.
