I Got Shit @ MSG2!

I never hope for any particular songs at PJ shows, I just enjoy each journey. But today I'm putting this one out into the universe. Screaming these lyrics along with thousands of others would be a catharsis my life could use right now — and I'm probably not alone.. Speak up if you feel me!

Same here.  Won't be there, but that song is a banger and I support it being played.  Also, what do you mean by "not PJ"?  It's an original PJ song written by Eddie Vedder:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkin_Ball

Neil Young appears on the studio recording and Brendan O'Brien plays bass rather than Jeff

They were probably referring recording lineup (Eddie, Jack Irons, Neil Young on guitar and Brendan O'Brien on bass)

That's awesome of you to say. Sometimes I can't even sing it by myself without a lump in my throat. Hearing it tonight would surely break me

I agree! And my dad remains a huge Neil Young fan, so to have the two of them construct this quintessential grunge tune together just adds layers of meaning and emotion to me.

Would be thrilled to hear this tonight!
@Pixeltender I hope everything works out, and that no matter what is played tonight, it offers some comfort and strength to get through the hard times.

Got it, that makes sense.  I knew the song featured Neil, but I thought the rest of PJ was also present for this recording.  Such a really cool song, I love how it has that unique vibe.  Hoping to get this one at Ohana Fest also
