I have a friend who has a Gibson SG Standard for sale. It's a 1996, cherry finish, all original. Original Gibson Cali Girl hardshell case in good condition. Guitar is in great shape, a few scratches in the clearcoat and a couple nicks in the headstock, but no damage and no repairs. Vintage-style tulip tuners, m-o-pearl anvil inlays and headstock details. Chrome-covered humbuckers, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop tailpiece. Neck binding. I can send digital pictures if you give me an e-mail. Figured someone here might be shopping for their own Christmas gifts... and it's a nice one.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

how much do they want for it? I am very interested.
Here's to hoping the next album is along the lines of No Code
  • He's looking for $850 plus shipping cost ($30-40-ish). It's no steal, but it is a nice guitar in good shape. If anyone's got an offer, PM me.

solid price if you ask me. I paid 9 for mine and don't regret a single penny of it.
