Mike and Stone's tone. The intro to Save You is just awesome on the album. I know it's the Trentino, but what other amps can get into that territory? Don't say Marshall because I've never heard a Marshall that sounded like that.
I thought Stone sounded great this tour. He had a very big, clear, overdriven nasty sound. I think the single coils on the strat helped, but that Trentino through the Marshall cab rawked!!!
I think a lot had to do with the speakers also. Old greenbacks that are really broken in probably sound great.
