Germanium Fuzz - which one?

I was thinking about having my Fuzz Face modded by Analogman to the specs of his Sun Face, but now I am having second thoughts. It will cost $100 to have it modded and I was looking on ebay and found the Fulltone Soulbender going for about the same price. Which do you think is a better deal?
And if hope could grow from dirt like me, it can be done
