Apple Wallet Required for Entry?

Anyone having issues with adding their tickets to Apple Wallet? Got my tickets straight through my Ticketmaster account and I’m the original purchaser. It’s saying you HAVE to add your tickets to your Apple Wallet to gain entry.  Yet when I do this it disables the pass and says it’s “associated with another Apple ID” which is wrong because I bought the tickets and with the same device I am using. Anyone else having this issue? Shouldn’t we be able to just use our Ticketmaster app and show the bar code? But instead of displaying the bar code, it says “must add to your Apple Wallet to gain entry”.

    Its a known issue when your Apple Wallet and your TM account do not share the same email. In the past you may have used another TM account when you walleted TM tickets for the first time that is different with your Apple ID email and now its locked to that TM account only. 

    You should be able to get in just using the login and moving barcode when that becomes available before the show with no issues.

    No barcode until a day or 2 before the show.

    You also might need to update to the latest OS. I was having the same issue recently and once i updated, it started working again.

    I did that. Still having issues.  

    Anyone else required to add to Apple wallet before entry?

    I wonder if the bar codes aren’t ready? The shows I’m talking about are Philly & Bmore.

    The barcodes won't show up until a day or two before the shows. They are not there yet for Philly and Baltimore.

    I was having same issue then barcode appeared on app a few days ago, I’m going to MSG show on 9/4

    I saw them appear for Baltimore. Now they’re not they’re again…

    Just go to ticketmaster on the web. You dont need to have a wallet, or the ticketmaster app or something

    You don't *have to* download your tickets to your wallet. It is recommended in case your phone has Internet issues at the venue, but it is not required. I go to a lot of shows, and I have never once had a problem. The barcode will be there the day of the show, I promise.
