i finally figured out how to convert a tape to a .wav file using the line-in jack on my sound card, but it seems microsoft sound recorder will only allow me to record 60 seconds at a time. does anyone know how i can increase the length of the recording time? if it's not possible with sound recorder, do i need to get a new sound card or is there something i can buy or download that will allow me to use the sound card i have and record longer?

any help with this is greatly appreciated.
thanks.

i also use this program on occasion...
u just have to let it run and hit record every 60 secs until its as long as u want it to be...
then just open that one over and over and save it as diff names.
