yeah considering maybe only 100-150 of those are made, you will NEVER have a chance to get it back again. I jumped on the last compressor and i am really happy. its S/N 22. so real rare i geuss. I would keep the OD, and try and sell something else.

Never say never, I saw the man last week, he is well and breathing.....:D They are pretty rare though.

I have uniphase #005 and it probably won't be sold for a very very long time.

I've been debating selling my Shannon Distortion. It never really distorted enough for me, and now that I have, and love, the Greedtone pedal, I never use it. The only thing thats stopping me is that I know its rare.

If it's not you, and you have something else you want, you might as well sell it, sure if someone famous starts using them you might kick yourself, but you also have a greedtone that's pretty cool too. I'm almost certain you can get your money back or better on the shannon right now and it might help you get something else you need or want and you might run across some other shannon stuff that suits you better later on. It was like that for me with the Uniphase. I like selling stuff because you can use that money to buy new stuff and someone else gets to use it when you weren't so much anymore. That's how I've looked at stuff like that. The only pedal I kind of wish I had back, was that Keeley Rat. Man that was a great distortion/fuzz.

I'm sure you'll get a pretty penny for it. Whats the difference between the phaser and the uniphase (which I bought off of you, and am really starting to dig).

slightly different component values in the circuit. the phaser is a true, mellow phase like the old phase 90s.

in the end, i decided i actually prefer the reissue phase 90 (with the R28 out). it's a bit brighter tonewise and "yoys" a bit differently at the wave peaks in a way that i prefer.

i feel bad about selling it because it's a great pedal. my ears just like the reissue 90s better.

I don't think you should really feel bad about it, You can respect quality craftsmanship without it being precisely for you. Erics Overdrive is fantastic, it's just not really my thing at this time. (It's still tough for me to ditch the DD) Whereas the Uniphase is my favorite phaser I've ever come across and I'm digging the comp with the gain knob too.

i've basically decimated my pedal collection again to pay for part of the casino, a minimass for my orange and the new pedals.

    DL4 gone
    expression pedal gone
    big muff gone
    phaser gone
distortion pro on the verge of going

i hit a bad retail therapy binge and now need to pay the piper a bit.

I love buying and selling pedals, if I want a piece of gear, I'll accomdate.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

My DL 4 is going up soon to pay for the new OT I'm concerned about.

I kind of want one of those cheap big muffs, to re-box. And I really dig the casino too.

the russian big muff circuit board is big. it won't fit, gracefully at least, into even a 1590BB (same size as a direct drive). i tried once.

at some point, i'm going to get one of those new little big muffs to replace it.

Oh, dang. Because I like the cheap one best, it just needs better input jacks so it won't break, and maybe a carling switch.

Are there serial numbers on the OD's as well? I can't find one, are they on the inside perhaps?

speaking of rare: as far as I know I'm the ONLY European with a Shannon OD - feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

only problem: nobody here give's a shit about Shannon pedals, so if I would sell it - which is not happening, but let's just say I would - I'd probably wouldn't even get its money's worth.

You'd have to ask Eric. I'm sure there are.

Ex. Kind of pointless isn't it? I mean geez, switchcraft jacks and or REAN aren't that expensive. Hell labor is .10 cents an hour, throw us a freaking bone.

I don't know how many Distortions he made, but I have 009.

It sounds best when overlayed with another overdrive or as a boost.

I never ever use it as a stand alone distortion pedal.
