The Beautiful Things Thread

Hoping this can just be a catch all for anything anyone wants to share that brings a smile to their face, inspires them, whatever, but with a more positive outlook, lol. A story, a photo, a dance clip, anything goes as far as I’m concerned, let’s just try and remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so no judgment please.

I’ll start with a short story of something I watched the other day, lol.

 I was sitting on the front step and was watching the kids across the street (from separate households) playing/interacting. They look like one’s about 4-5 and the other’s about 2. When it came time to say goodbye the older child insisted on giving the other a big hug and it was adorable watching her squat down to get to the 2 year old’s level, lol.

 I’m often pretty down on the world we’ve created but when I see moments like that those concerns fade away and all I can think is “That’s what it’s all about/for!”

All I can add for now is that folks down in West Virginia where I’m camping have been really nice! Folks actually say hello to strangers! 

Where I live on Long Island you’re lucky to get a nod hello.
