Thee Deception, a forceful voice in punk from the
Great Pacific Northwest, has emerged as a prominent band challenging
norms and igniting change. Featuring original Green River member Alex
Shumway (guitar), Samuel Bligh (vocals), Cody Davis (guitar), Dave Place
(bass), and Regan Hagar (drums)—a name synonymous with Seattle drumming
at its hard-hitting best and a founding member of Malfunkshun, Satchel,
and Brad—the band combines political fervor with a distinctive punk
sound. Vocalist Samuel Bligh shares that their track “Influencer” is a
“commentary on how social media is de-evolving the minds of the youth
into robots. Likes aren’t real.” Their upcoming album, We The People,
set for release on November 8, 2024, on Loosegroove Records, promises to
further explore unparalleled intensity and authenticity.

James and the Cold Gun "James and the Cold Gun - Face in the Mirror" 12"
Description: It took less
than three years for James And The Cold Gun to go from a garage in
Cardiff, Wales — where the band's co-founders, James Joseph and James
Biss, recorded their debut album — to performing at Hyde Park in support
of Pearl Jam & Guns N’Roses. That kind of explosive growth is
reflected in the band's sound: a loose, loud energy that channels the
glory days of 1990s alt-rock, when electric guitars ruled the airwaves.
Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard heard the track on KEXP in Seattle,
and after being impressed, he signed the band to his revitalized label,
Loosegroove Records.
Tracklist:
Face in the Mirror
Riding the Tiger
Guessing Games
Above the Lake
Twist The Knife
Cut the Brakes
DNA
Blood Red Sky
A Way Out
Meet My Maker
