Yeah, the low maintenance is a plus for me. It's supposed to be a tank, so I'm safe.

As for the knob, I've tried. A few knobs come of real easily but a few don't come of at all! And of course the string is around one of them. I've pulled hard, but don't wanna break it.

The marker thing is a good idea, thanks.

And the combined feature really appears to make it a very versatile amp. So, yes, I'm pretty happy. I think I've improved in amp for a decent enough price and just the change it brings will make me play more, at least the first couple of months. So hopefully the playing will also improves...

you'll certainly have fun with it. That's kind of what it's all about. I'm glad it's really versatile. Johnny Greenwood wouldn't play a shit amp you know. I bet it sounds awesome with effects too.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

Greenwood combines it with a Vox AC-30. But Greenwood wasn't why I bought it, all the reviews, options, quality and comparisons made me decide to go for it. Though it does give it an extra coolness :D that and the fact that they don't make 'em anymore.

As for the effects, don't know, cause I don't have any. And yes, fun is the name and the aim of my game.
