I haven't played any guitar in like 4 days

I'm too fucking busy with work. Hopefully this will only make it better when I finally get around to it.

    I haven't played in like a week. I meant to last night, but my girlfriend somehow got free tickets to see Norah Jones so I went with her last minute. Not my cup of tea, but it was a good, relaxing show. Plus I owed her for coming to a bunch of shows w/ me she didn't want to go to.

    I plan on playing and recording tonight though...got a few new toys (EBow, Zoom RFX-300) I want to use.

    since i got home from my work trip on sunday, i've only played piano. i'm kinda surprised.

    ps. pearlwax, did you happen to see my gomez thread before it got deleted. i get to see them here on oct 1!!!

    You'd better, wouldn't want withdrawal symptoms to start kicking in. I hope to play ome this weekend, though I'd better bring my Champ in, to get it running smooth again. I have it over a month now and STILL haven't gotten round to bringing it in.

    No I didn't, I don't really hang round here that much either, due to work. Work is fun though...

    Dude, you are sooo gonna love them! I've seen them twice already. They're so much fun and such great - and underestimated - musicians, without the attitude.

    I saw it. I responded, saying that I better look and see if they're near me, because they put on a great show. I pushed "submit reply" and the whole board disappeared. Sorry, I guess it was my fault!

    Then I looked them up, and they had played here like 3 nights before. Dohh!

    Gomez is a great band,,, I've seen them before. Enjoy!

    the inspiration always comes after not playing for a while. thats when i play something really original that sounds cool. and its more fun too. if i go longer than a week though, i start to get a little rusty.

    Gomez's return is the only thing making me feel better about not going to any of the upcoming PJ gigs.. (that and hopes of them playing Bridgeschool again) Strangely enough I only travelled for a PJ gig once. It was for the 10th anniversary show in Las Vegas... with them playing Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns it was really worth the trip!

    We can't all play everyday. I know, it feels like withdrawal, but like you said, that only makes it better when you finally pick up the thing again :)

    Just started a new job so I've not played guitar in a while (3days) which is WAY TOO LONG. I've found myself reading guitar guide books at night though. I may not be playing but i'm still learning.

    DOnt worry, I went aon a tour for a month, not one plucking of a string... it hurt... A LOT.
