Performing an album in order is a tacky gimmick. Mostly when you go out on a "will this sell more tickets?" type tour doing it Less so when it is a "fun" surprise.
So
I'm not there but: Maybe, maybe not
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
meant was a spread and not a 11-block in order or rearranged
That’s how I understood it.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Please no. The shows are not just for superfans. The arenas are filled with casual fans who want to hear the hits. Think about if you went to see a band like Smashing Pumpkins who you might like, but aren't listening to all of their catalog. You want to hear the radio songs. But if they come out and play an hour of the new album, the place will be dead with no energy.
I just saw DMB. He played all deep cuts, the only hit played was a cover of a David Bowie song. Most of the back of the pavilion sat for most of the show as they played to the warehouse fans up front. No energy at all.
„Dark Matter World Tour“ could be the first hint: what‘s to expect.
When looks DMWT just not right? To me it needs 7 (out of 11) to avoid that. Rotating is possible. But this topic is about way more - in the World of PJ.
Total: 25 fix (at least on board here + now) DM: 11 fix / rotating possible Rest: 14 ?? How many of these 14 are fix + which songs? Anyway those MUST BE the SUREFIRES! Just for my example: 8 incl. Alive + Even Flow
Now the tough one (for some on board) They play 19 (!) out of 25 for sure - not forever but on the DARK MATTER WORLD TOUR. And this goes around the World - Fans in Australia know it months before the show.
Rest: 6 That’s the X - Factor. (and the best / if Not the only reason to follow the setlist Thread live on screen here;)
Too utopian for you ?
All based on what I have seen in Manchester on the floor and on the Seats + because I think its doable with the new album.
I'm still sad they played everything but waiting for stevie in Vancouver. Would of loved 1 more song.
Zod. Just be grateful you got both of your shows unlike the many unfortunate people in Europe.

The Coop Arena Pic is a kind of souvenir and fix
edit: and I have seen the hint up there but: wait and see.
