any background on Meaningless? the youtube video for this says "Shower the People by James Taylor, Brass in Pocket by the Pretenders, and the Meaningless bit which, I believe, was improvised"

so Meaningless portion is improv?

it is all one mashed up improv, there are point during Shower The People where the melody is aligned with the actual James Taylor song and the same for the Brass in Pocket, but really is just a giant improv.
