When I was visiting my cousin in France two weeks ago, I played around with one of these. Her boyfriend has one. He hooked it up to the simple soundsystem (with tapedeck, cd-player, tuner) and used those speakers to play and hooked it to the laptop to record. It was good fun.

Any thoughts?
PS: I saw Once upon a time in Mexico the other night. In the extra's Rodriguez gives a tour in his home studio. There's one part where he composes the music for his movies at the spot, using - amongst others - 4 ProTools hooked up together! If you rent that movie, be sure to check it out.
