    FINALLY.

    23. ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER

(in the style of the Jimi Hendrix Experience!! Slower tempo, and lead-off from McCready!!)
I’m not sure the tempo was planned. Ed said it would be started off by “whoever knew it”, obviously sarcastically. Everyone kind of noodled and then Stone nodded to Jessica Dobson from Deep Sea Diver, who started in a chunkier style/tempo than I’ve heard Pearl Jam play it before. I think Ed actually laughed and looked a bit caught off guard but everyone just went with it, and it was great.

I definitely thought it packed an extra punch tonight. 👍

    Yellow Wing. F’ing awesome.

There was a guy there holding up a Little Wing sign with show numbers crossed out. I think it had 56, 57, and 58 on it? I could have misread but they put it up on the big screen when Mike started tagging Little Wing. Then Ed said “Seattle…” and the whole band kicked in. They played the full thing and then Mike finished YL. It was one of my favorite PJ moments in the 30 shows I’ve been to. Crazy that this band can still put on a show like this 30 years in. 🤘
Highlight of the show for sure. Tag? Nope, he's gonna keep going.

Looking forward to hearing River Cross and Yellow Wing in particular.  Solid set list but sounds like it was a great atmosphere from those who were there.

That was my husband! And you are correct- this was his 60th show and he has been holding that sign for a bit! I am at home in Chicago and was so pumped he got his song—-the FULL SONG- AND put up on the screen! I can’t wait to see pics and video! So sad I missed that moment for him. He is a huge fan and this could not have been more special for him.  I love that it was so cool for other people too!

That is absolutely incredible! What a moment! Little wing is actually my favorite song of all time by any artist. Really never thought they’d play the full thing again. Can’t wait to hear the boot!

    14. MAN OF THE HOUR

(I'm guessing for Big Bill Walton💙)
Saw Bill Walton last month at a Neil Young show in San Diego. He had a walking stick and had someone help hold him up while he walked. My dad and I remarked that he looked rough. But what I didn't know about him, was that he was a huge music aficionado. The guy next to use told us how he goes to all the big shows in San Diego.
    RIP Bill.
He was at PJ's 2022 SD show.
