Any thoughts on this? I have a possibility to trade my USA strat for this one. Main question: are they versatile enough? I know Chris Urbanowitz from Editors plays one and when I saw them live this guitar had an awesome sound. Just wondering about the versatility.

    lots of range with the extra control. sort of a bass roll off. can't remember the exact area it hits.

    rickenbacker necks are very unique and different from the strat neck on a US standard. narrower at the nut and somewhat thicker depthwise.

    i'm basing this on my 330-12.

    give it a whirl. rickenbackers have class but are strange beasts and are sort of a love/hate thing.
