Is This Real- Portland 7:30

Hi. I just received an email stating the times for the Portland show. Things start at 7:30 with ‘Is This Real’. Then an opening act follows.

Anyone know what Is This Real means?

This was my immediate thought.  Could even get a 2nd encore added, that would be epic!

Yeah, I'd like to think that they know that this cool Wipers opening set does not substitute for 5 of their own songs later in the evening. I'm still thinking we get a show that at this point goes until close to midnight. Hoping my 8 year old can stay awake!

Typical openers get 35-45 minutes. Wiper songs aren’t exactly rock operas.
Edit: I didn’t know we were getting deep sea. diver also. I’m figuring a midnight curfew and Matt gets to pay the fine

If Matt can be in an opening band and drum for 35-45 mins couldn't PJ bring back the 5-10 song second encore? Just saying. :-)

I thought "Is This Real" was Boom's solo act.

He does.  Not drummer in this one.  Also it is Friday Night, typically they will get until 11:30 to 11:45 if not 11:55 on Fridays, though I have not been to a show in Portland so who knows.

That isn't how they normally operate with openers.

Last train for the airport leaves the station near the Moda Center at 12:59 a.m., so I'm giving Pearl Jam my full authority to play until 12:45 a.m.

Midnight curfew, unless they want to pay overtime to the local unions, which they’ve done at MSG.  Hopefully PJ hits the 9:30 start time. And throws away the clock.

    Hard to Imagine opener.

I think it was stated in another thread (or maybe earlier in this one?) that PJ will indeed be hitting the stage about 9:30, and are expected to play 'til just short of Midnight.

I second the Hard to Imagine opener notion.
