We gonna lose a half hour of PJ because of the double opener? Nooooooo
We are going to get the most epic setlist in return
Yeah, I'd like to think that they know that this cool Wipers opening set does not substitute for 5 of their own songs later in the evening. I'm still thinking we get a show that at this point goes until close to midnight. Hoping my 8 year old can stay awake!
If Matt can be in an opening band and drum for 35-45 mins couldn't PJ bring back the 5-10 song second encore? Just saying. :-)
I think Matt sings and plays guitar with Is This Real?
He does. Not drummer in this one. Also it is Friday Night, typically they will get until 11:30 to 11:45 if not 11:55 on Fridays, though I have not been to a show in Portland so who knows.
I called Moda and they are expecting PJ to be done around 11:55 PM

Midnight curfew, unless they want to pay overtime to the local unions, which they’ve done at MSG. Hopefully PJ hits the 9:30 start time. And throws away the clock.

Hard to Imagine opener.
I think it was stated in another thread (or maybe earlier in this one?) that PJ will indeed be hitting the stage about 9:30, and are expected to play 'til just short of Midnight.

That isn't how they normally operate with openers.

I second the Hard to Imagine opener notion.
