RIP Steve Albini

SandyRavageSandyRavage Posts: 922
just saw word that Steve passed last last night of a heart attack...

I know his influence in the PJ world was limited, but he was behind the boards of PJ's peers: from Nirvana to the Breeders, to Fugazi, the Pixies and Cheap Trick.

Rest in Peace!

Wow. That's a big name in the music world, regardless.
    Another jolt of reality.

There is a poker forum called 2 plus 2 and a long time anonymous poster started a thread called something like Ask Me Anything About My Day Job.

    "What is your day job?"

    "I'm music producer Steve Albini."

    "The f**k you are!"

2-time World Series of Poker champion in 7 card stud and H.O.R.S.E.  And the dude who engineered Heart Shaped Box, my favourite Nirvana song. Legend!

It was not Albini. He goes out of his way to say that he's not a producer.
