Final Thoughts on Dark Matter in Vancouver

After 2 phenomenal shows in Vancouver I have come to the conclusion that this album translates fantastically live. The new visuals enhanced it for me. I know some may not like how many of the songs were repeated, but I honestly welcome it. The band is proud and so they should be. The crowd reacted to the new songs quite well.

My final thought is Setting Sun possibly being the best closing song I have seen. Both nights I got quite emotional hearing the song, there was happiness mixed with tears.

I lost my Dad 2 weeks before Christmas, and this album has become very therapeutic for me. I love the songs so much, and I feel the band is re-energized by the songs as well. They should be very proud of Dark Matter.

I love this band, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the shows as much as I did!

I think of my dad during shows often...he also passed 2 weeks before xmas in 2007, only 55

Our final picture together he wore my Avocado blue tour shirt...he knew the band meant a great deal to me

Hope your doing ok, not easy especially that time of the year

I love this new album...seeing 4 shows VEGAS/LA...Then (5) in the Fall NYC/PHILLY/FENWAY, excited for sure

I thought last night was a really solid show and I enjoyed it.  The band sounds great.  You have to keep reminding yourself of their years together and embrace who they are now.

I’ve probably stood in my last merch line, but other than that, My quick trip north was a home run and I’m counting down the days to Seattle.

It's truly liberating!  I used to plan my day around the merch lines, experience frustration, waste time and spend too much money.  These days I just care about the music and it's like a weight off my shoulders on show-day!
