Ok sorry for the harsh language, I know there are children in the audience
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

I hope they postpone playing it further for every unreasonable demand here.
The song has been hyped to the max before the release. The media were on about it endlessly, people here ask for it daily. There are other new songs that are amazing. The attention should be spread more equally and that's why I'm glad they don't play it as long as they don't want to.

Does seem weird considering they have now played ALL the other songs from the album.
     Maybe difficult to sing?

It’s all about what you do with the time. Like one time, these guys were waiting so they used that time to write a song.
Y’know that song was pretty good actually, they should play it. Waiting for Waiting for Stevie.

It's clearly an East Coat debut. There are a lot of "godforsaken towns" here...

Don’t apologize for that, they need to know.

The media were on about it endlessly
What, because Jonathan Cohen said he liked it twice? It has been a long time since there has been any kind of media attention to Pearl Jam to the extent that anything could be described as being discussed endlessly.

They're obviously waiting for Stevie to play it, but what if Stevie, like Godot, never comes? (Or if he comes, then goes...)
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

How many songs has Ed played guitar on in the last 2 shows?
I noticed he didn't play at all on Howard. I know some of the requests like YL he never plays, but didn't look like he had one ready to go like the rest of them. From the videos I saw I was a little surprised how little guitar he played on the new album. And also noticed from the set list there weren't many older songs where Ed plays on there either. It made me wonder if he's not playing as much on purpose for several different reasons, and this is one that he plays a lot of guitar on so it won't get played as much.
Maybe it means nothing at all and I'm reading into the setlist too much.

Ed did mention something about tendinitis in his arm in a recent interview.  So this is a very real possibility that he is avoiding playing as much as possible!

The "Play Leash you pussies" cardboard sign at MSG 2003 certainly elicited a response from Ed!  BTW, I finally got my first Leash in LA on the Gigaton Tour.

The song is actually called 'Stevie'. This is all one, big, long running dad joke.
