Hello Family! I can't believe I have the honor of attending this Friday's(YES- THIS FRIDAY!!!) Pearl Jam show at the Moda Center.
I first saw the band during the 1992 Lollapalooza tour, and have been blessed to see them several times since then (in the 90s). This will be my first show in 24 years! That show was one of the first that I attended sober from alcohol and drugs. They have been the soundtrack for my life (I know so many of you resonate with this). Through Recovery, Cancer, Divorce. Untimely losses of dear friends and family, the band has provided refreshment and encouragement to me through these past decades.

I have never heard PJ play "Release" live. It is the song that I most resonate with. Perhaps they will open with that on Friday, but even if they don't, let's have a great and safe concert during these crazy times!
