"Dark Matter" on Apple TV+

I looked for another thread about this and couldn't find one, so:

I just saw an ad for a series called Dark Matter premiering on Apple TV+ on May 8. It stars Joel Edgerton. No word on who did the soundtrack.

    My buddy recommended it to me.  It was pretty good.  But apparently it was based on a best selling book.  No pj connection.

    Need to watch, but I want to read the book first. I just read another book by the author. He does mind bending sci-fi. Yeah, there is no relation to PJ.
