After two weeks out now, the new record still blows me away every day.
So much to explore, so much to enjoy.
After the first listen, Dark Matter sounded like a good Pearl Jam record to me.
With every new spin on the record player, this got better and better.
The great feeling exploring song by song, diving down to the core, getting to know the lyrics.
What a record this is!
Eddie was partly right when he said it was the 'best Pearl Jam album' yet.
It surely is the PJ record with the highest ground level.
There are 11 great songs, some of them fantastic.
There is not a single song I would like to skip, not even close.
Not one weak part.
'Won't Tell', 'Upper Hand' and 'Waiting For Stevie' build the best middle block on any Pearl Jam record yet, epic!

I hope other fans enjoy the album as much as I do.
Who else does?

Thanks to the band and to Andrew Watt for this gift to the fans - you guys did it!
Please play these songs live as often as possible - they rock!

it's slowly grown on me. definitely their best album since avocado but...

have you heard the middle block of Black/Jeremy/Oceans...Dissident/Blood/RVM...Off He Goes/Habit/Red Mosquito...NAIS/Thin Air/Insignificance?

sorry but the new record can not compare to any of those at all. but...just opinions and personal taste i guess!
