If they were ever going to do this song, the anniversary of Chris's death would be a memorable night for it.  I would really love to see this at least once.  Can't believe that it has already been 7 years.

    I think you’re probably getting Missing that night. I don’t think Comes Then Goes is ever getting played live.

    I'd loooove to see missing. Was at the TOTD Philly show when the debuted it, but it didn't make it to Fenway in the home/away shows

    What I would love to hear is the Scared of Fear / Comes and Goes sequence (aka Snapshot of their early friendship / snapshot of the remains of the relationship near the end). 

    Even better would be this sequence : Scared of Fear / Comes and Goes / Missing

    Was fortunate enough to see Missing in San Francisco, and again in 2018 in Seattle.

    I've heard that Comes Then Goes may never get played, but I thought I would throw it out there, just in case. Stranger things have happened.

    I'd personally be fine not ever seeing Comes Then Goes. I understand the significance/meaning but that's a loooong solo acoustic song to plop into a PJ show

    "Don't play this song!" - in my experience that's a great way to get Pearl Jam to play a song. ;)

    Do we have anything other than conjecture regarding the meaning of "Comes Then Goes"? In other words, has Ed ever actually said anything regarding what he wrote the song about?

    I think it's possible that it hasn't been played because it is a complicated Ed solo song with a lot of words. They weren't doing the thing in 2022 or 2023 when Ed would come out and play a song solo or with minimal accompaniment to start the first encore like they had done on some previous tours.

    Probably an unpopular opinion but I think missing is one of their weakest covers.

    In recent  set lists Ed has started the encore solo with a cover.  I would like to see Comes Then Goes played in that spot.

    I love this song. thought he'd bust it out last tour. One of my favorites from Gigaton. Seems like this would be the one he plays out of the break while the guys are getting a rest....
