    Yes, this explains what I've felt from the start.  The guitar sounds and tones are so amazing in Dark Matter.  Some of the best I've heard in the catalog.  Custom made amps would explain why this sounds so special.  Add in the fact that Stone + Jeff + Mike are master guitar smiths, and we have a record that is ear candy for guitar lovers.
