The full collection of songs on Dark Matter are EVEN BETTER than I had hoped
The first two singles, Dark Matter and Running worried me because I couldn't hear Ed's voice very well in the mix but I had a hopeful "Let's wait to hear it all..." attitude.
What a wonderful surprise when I heard the whole collection of songs!
I love the flow of the album and the way Dark Matter and Running contrast with the other songs. I'm not ashamed to say I shed some tears of joy because we have eleven more songs to love.
What did you all think when you heard everything all together?

Felt the same way. When I look back at the last few albums there are individual songs I like better than anything on Dark Matter. The sum of its parts though are very strong. The album is consistent and lean. Can’t wait to see how it comes across live.0

I'm really trying to be objective here. I love this album! I can't remember the last time I've had a record on repeat like this.
I've now been listening to all other Pearl Jam studio albums and for me...this is the best album since advocado I think. I don't think it's really comparable to yield or binaural purely for the age gap and I think those albums prob had more bredth in terms of musicals styles.
Dark Matter is definitely up there for me."Bring it back, to the clean form. To the pure form"
