Hollowbody Help Required

I have a hollowbody guitar. Last night I noticed that the wiring harnesses from the volume and tone knobs have become unstuck from the inside of the guitar. You can now see them dangling through one of the f-holes (I think that's what they're called). I can see where the harnesses have little foam stickies attached to them which would then adhere to the inside of the guitar.

Questions:
1. What are the odds of damaging the wiring if I leave it? Bare in mind that I tend to physically attach the guitar when I play and am trying to figure out windmilling on a hollowbody.
2. Any idea of how much a shop should charge to re-attach the harnesses to the guitar?

Thanks.
