The lawsuit, filed by the DOJ and 30 state and district attorneys general in federal court in the Southern District of New York, accuses the company of creating a monopoly over the live entertainment market that has harmed music fans, artists and promoters around the United States through higher prices and frustrating consumer experiences.
"The result is that fans pay more in fees, artists have fewer opportunities to play concerts, smaller promoters get squeezed out, and venues have fewer real choices for ticketing services," Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement announcing the lawsuit. "It is time to break up Live Nation."

Filed today. At least they’re going after the venue kickbacks as much as service fees, as that really drives up ticket cost. Will anything change?
I'm sure AXS doesnt get all that money, but it sure seems they do. All that does is make them look like the bad guy when they're passing a lot of that money on to others.
Is it $8 fees per $22 ticket? Not bad.
Is it $16.74 per $22 ticket and a constant fee no matter how many tickets bought? Eep.

Comparing to the post above yours, going from 2 to 4 tickets it's pretty linear. Handling fee doesn't change but most of it is in the service fee which is per ticket

I wonder if anything can or will be done. Maybe we will get extra credit for some shows in the future to nothing any of us want to go to.

..Assuming that service charge goes to the venue (so they can pay their own bills), why the hell not split it up and make it more transparent?
Venue Fee: $X
Taxes: $X
AXS fee, aka the money AXS actually keeps: $X.
Credit Card Fee (I'm assuming that's the handling fee).
