Looking for Portland Hotels Advice

This’ll be my first time in the city. Where’s everyone staying? Any good recommendations?

Crowne Plaza looked good and was cheap when I was checking months ago.

I booked a room at Jupiter. The reviews were great, so here's to hoping!

If you stay at the Hyatt near the convention center you can walk to the show.

The area around the Moda Center is not the best / nicest area. Not many bars/restaurants for pre/post show action if that matters. The west side of the river is generally a nicer option... and the Max lightrail train is a good option to get to the show.

@jareds941 So I'm booked for a place called Jupiter under a mile south of Moda. Reviews raved about the area. Should I reconsider?

That spot should be good - it's right next to a very cool small music venue called the Doug Fir and some cool bars and food carts. There's a kinda classic "strip city" spot nearby called Union Jacks if you're into that sort of vibe after the show. Should be all good!
