Why ballparks Chi/Boston and not NYC/Philly?

I get it, Wrigley and Fenway. But seriously it’s so hard getting a ticket in New York City and Philadelphia.

Kind of surprised Citizens Bank Park or the Linc hasn’t happened yet but I wouldn’t go. Even as a Yankees fan I wouldn’t go see them in the Bronx. Completely different atmosphere. MSG is the best arena to see any band.

Arena shows in Chicago and Boston have been on my PJ bucket list forever. I originally didn’t have tickets for either MSG show in 2010, and was planning on Boston. But I ended up getting singles for both shows so I passed on Boston. I was thinking they’ll play TD Garden again soon….well it’s been 14 years…and the 2010 show is my biggest regret. Was able to knock out the United Center last year and the second night was the best Chicago show I’ve seen (went to Wrigley 3x).

Yeah I’ll take The United Center over Wrigley as well.

Wrigley and Fenway were neat the first few go around but the novelty has worn off on me.  Arena shows are where it is at for me.

I agree with arena shows as the way to go.  The novelty of ballpark shows has faded

Because Citi and yankee don’t have posts blocking thousands of views?

"History"/novelty. I don't love either Wrigley or Fenway, especially for concerts, but there is a certain allure to playing there that I don't think ballparks built in the last 20 years have.
