I was in the same boat with a place close to me. Definitely worth calling. The guy at my place was super friendly and informative. They're doing it close to closing time (7 pm) and he wasn't sure about promos as they hadn't received them yet.

I'll definitely call if need be-- I'm just trying to spare them a phone call when they might be getting bombarded with them.

If they're doing it in the evening, I'll have to miss it. I'm seeing Jeff Tweedy at Largo (a 300-seat theater in L.A.) Sunday night (and also tomorrow, Friday and Monday nights). It's a big music week for this massive Pearl Jam and Wilco fan.

How do these work? The record is just played in the store. I'm trying to imagine how you can really experience the album this way. However, I am intrigued and really do not want to wait until the 19th to hear this (and I cannot make the movies on the 16th).

I spoke with my local record store and, yes, they just play the record very loudly while you shop or just chill and listen

same record store was playing the Vitalogy remaster a while back when that record released so I imagine it will be similar

I’m really enjoying the album so far. We’re on Running currently. I didn’t hear what was so special about Waiting For Stevie, besides the solo. I guess I got too excited about the comparisons to Breath and SOLAT.

I’m sure I’d be happier if the store had a better system to play it on and it was an actual listening party instead of everyone talking very loudly through it. Yes, I’m a grumpy old man.

Also, I really wish they repeated that bridge in Running again. God, that is good!

Yeah, it's pretty big, and I'm not sure what we're going to do with it. What's nice is that it's already mounted, so we can just hang it somewhere we have space.

Oh my!! I went to a local store with my sister yesterday and we were both completely blown away.

The new songs are all phenomenal and we loved the giveaways and the free swag.

If you haven’t heard the songs yet and are going to the Tuesday night showing you are going to be in for an amazing time.
Thank You Pearl Jam for the most magical day and I can’t wait to hear the songs live at Wrigley Field on Night 2!
