Prioritization is missed. Really helped spread it around. It's rough when you see one person go 0 for 4 and another 7 for 8. Particularly when you strike out on your local show and some jetsetter racks up their 6th GA.marjen said:I’ll complain. Once again some people get tickets to multiple shows and others get nothing. I have not gotten a ticket through 10 club since 2018. Insane.
It's weird that five sixtyish year old men believe that ranking a priority of shows is too difficult for fans to understand, and removing priority will reward some unfairly and shut out many.0

I'm gonna complain about EV supercharged elitists removing the 3/24 show draw statistics from chuks comment , which is roughly 10%, then making jokes that its random! I don't get it bc ranking priority is too difficult of a concept for me.BF25394 said:

I also don't understand your substantive criticism. He said some hit 80 percent and some hit 10 percent. That was all that needed to be quoted. Why would it be necessary to include the breakdown of the ten-percent example in my reply?I gather speed from you fucking with me.0

I liked when you could see what your odds of getting tickets were0

I loved that...MAMIAST said:I liked when you could see what your odds of getting tickets were
Especially since 75% of the people here at the time wouldn't pay attention and would still make their 4 choices....
 1. GA NYC 1
 2. GA NYC 2
 3. GA PHILLY 1
 4. GA PHILLY 2
 Leaving them with nothing.
 Take me piece by piece.....

This is why the priority ended. These people couldn’t grasp why they didn’t get tickets. When we had priority I always picked the less popular shows and I always got tickets. In 30 years in 10c and 70 shows I’ve never been to NY or Philly.SPEEDY MCCREADY said:

It would also help if people who don't live in the New York or Philadelphia areas could break free of the mistaken notion that shows in those cities are inherently better than shows in other cities, and stop flocking to those shows from other parts of the country and world. (I say this is as someone who has seen them eight times at MSG, three times at Jones Beach, twice at Randall's Island and once each in Newark and at the Nassau Coliseum. Some of those shows were standouts, and some were "ordinary." Meanwhile, I've seen standout shows in "random" cities like Phoenix and San Diego (less random, given the band's ties there).)I gather speed from you fucking with me.0

30 years in the 10C and only got 1 of 4 shows (Atlanta, Nashville). There. I feel better.0

TicketMaster could limit fans to winning just one of each show in a given city, as they did with MSG last lottery. No reason they couldn't have done that for at least Hollywood, as it's a tiny venue, but really, they could do it for every mulit-show city, or even limit shows to some percentage of the tour. 10-show leg? You can win 5 max."I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."

I am 6 hours train ride away from NYC and it’s my “local” show. I’m not choosing it for the vibes, it is literally the closest they come to me.BF25394 said:It would also help if people who don't live in the New York or Philadelphia areas could break free of the mistaken notion that shows in those cities are inherently better than shows in other cities, and stop flocking to those shows from other parts of the country and world. The only “system” that will fix the problems is a larger tour. And I don’t think they’re interested in doing that.0

I'm complaining because people are complaining in non-complaining threads. 2011: Vancouver 2011: Vancouver

 2025: Nashville 1 & 2, Raleigh 1 & 20

I think bringing priority back would help, but I agree the smaller tours are part of the problem. Fewer shows means greater demand.kmcmanus said:

I don't think people struck out nearly this much on the 2023 run that was also 5 cities and places the band hadn't hit in many years? I get that Dark Matter was successful, but I find it hard to believe that it would be that much of an uptick.MJ178168 said:

I don't have the numbers for everyone, but I was successful with Indy and Chicago. If I recall, Indy was a difficult one to get, but that was my first choice for priority ranking. I also wonder whether there was any post covid effect on the number of entries. There were still people not only with concerns about covid, but concerns with the band canceling.iOnlyownMymind said:

I'm not talking about people for whom it's their local show. I'm talking about people who fly in from all over the country and world.kmcmanus said:

Do people really felt any entertainment value with their current stage set up... Did we really need to see them play evolution in front of their music video...
I don't care much for their live theatrics, and to be honest could go on without that huge ass screen if it meant the rear seats would be open.2000 - Toronto

My seats to FL2 aren't that great. I'm sure you all want to hear all about it...hahaha.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0

Does nothing for me. Would prefer them sell to the back and bring prices down a bit with it.ReleaseMe said:Do people really felt any entertainment value with their current stage set up... Did we really need to see them play evolution in front of their music video...
