Anyone ever own or play one of these? Saw their ad in Guitar Player and visited their website.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride" ! Unknown

Very playable guitars... one of the best necks I have ever played. The pups are nice too, I had a Slingshot. They have a feel that you normally only find on much higher priced instruments... that is really special... great resonance and responsive feel.

In the end it is a very high quality instrument, but for me it lacked a certain mojo that some of the major brands have... it is unfortunate that was the main factor in me not keeping the guitar, but that really was it... I know play a Townshend SG... the pickups are a little bit hotter, and the scale is different... but the feel is actually comparable... the reverend probably cost half of what the SG did...

If you can get past not having a Gibson or Fender... then they are a great value... really well made, American guitars.

play one, and you will see what I am talking about.
