Okay at the moment, but in my history I've never maintained a lead after the second day so I'm not too excited yet haha

I didn't do a bracket this year. My daughter did and as some kind of stupidly misplaced loyalty put my college, UVa in the final four.

I'm in fifth in my group. I picked UConn along with Creighton and Marquette in the final four.

Always nice when duke loses in the tournament.

Actually had Connecticut over Purdue in the finals. We’ll see how that goes.

While I still think UConn is so dominant that it is unbeatable, Purdue and NC State are notable in the final four

In 2018 Virginia lost to a 16 seed and then won the title. Of course Virginia faced a three seed when it beat Texas Tech.
in 2011 UConn won five games in five days to win the Big East as a ninth-seed in a 16-team field and then won the title. This year NC State was the 10th seed in a 15-team and won it all.

So it will be interesting to see if Purdue or NC State can duplicate those previous feats.

Was just reading about NIL as how it relates to the school up the road from me…Utah State.

they had a new coach this year. They won the Mountain West and won a game in the tournament. Washington swooped in and signed the USU coach for 6 years, $22M. He wants to compete for a national title and I’m sure he liked the raise. The thing is, USU can’t pay for championship level talent. They say a good Mountain West player will cost you $100k. Half a mil for a good starting five. Power 5 conference schools can pay that to one player. I’m all for players getting some money but a half a mil seems crazy….and not good for “the game.”
